Media portfolio
The items below all comprise of a strategic communication portfolio in which I constructed a media campaign a pretend client's official platforms. My chosen client was the Black Collegiate Gaming Association (BCGA) and its property Women Got Game. The portfolio includes a press release, podcast, organization fact sheet, social media package, an op-ed and electronic direct mailer.
Women Got Game Press Release
The BCGA held two Women Got Game events the spring of 2024. The press release provides more information about each event.
Op-ed
I wrote this in the voice of Keshia Walker, founder and and chairperson of BCGA. The op-ed is about the current level of diversity in gaming and esports. The information within is based upon an interview with Keshia Walker and independent research.
Electronic Mailer
I made an electronic mailer for BCGA's Women Got Game events in San Francisco and Cleveland. The information covers the highlights of both events, upcoming events and other platforms to follow the latest updates for BCGA and Women Got Game.
Fact Sheet
I created a fact sheet for BCGA that covers organization history, leadership, partnered institutions and businesses and its current social media following.
Social media package
I created a series of social media posts and captions for BCGA's Women Got Game Tournaments in March and April 2024.
