Media Analysis Example 

Art With a Heart (AWAH) was the client I worked with for my senior capstone. AWAH is a Baltimore-based non-profit that provides art classes to underprivileged residents, which improves their quality of life, self image and productivity in multiple aspects of life. I worked with the organization to identify and fulfil communications goals, which were to improve brand awareness, preference and consideration.

 

I thoroughly researched the organization, determined its target audiences, created target personas, audited social media content, devised a campaign strategy, met with the client weekly, submitted campaign materials to them and presented the campaigns results to a panel of marketing and communications professionals.

Client presentation and analysis

I worked with Art With a Heart to determine communication goals, create target audience personas, identify opportunities and develop a social media campaign as my senior capstone project. I had to present my reasearch, findings and results to a panel strategic communication professionals.

Media Submissions

I delivered all media — short form videos, photographs, and a press release — to the client to be used in the social media campaign.

Social Media Guidance

Art With a Heart Specifically requested a social media guide — one that provides a foundation for their social media practices and unifies the social media team's efforts. I also provided a social media calendar and social media analytical document.
